The Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Stars of Ghana are set to face-off in March’s Qatar 2022 World Cup Playoffs.
Both West African brothers were paired against each other in yesterday’s draw witnessed by dignitaries and legends from the continent.
While the Nigeria National Football Team is currently enjoying life in Cameroon, the Black Stars of Ghana had a tournament to forget after crashing out in the group stages.
In another top fixture, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will have their hands full as when the face defending Africa Cup of Nations champion, the Fennec of Algeria.
Meanwhile, Africa top ranked team Teranga Lions of Senegal will have to negotiate against the Pharaoh if Egypt if they have the intention of participating in the next World Cup.
In another interesting encounter, the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia will tackle the Eagles of Mali.
The final game in the playoffs will see 1974 World Cup Participant DR Congo face Atlas Lions of Morocco.
The playoffs are slated for March with the winner over the two legs qualified for the World Cup.
