Mayowa Duntoye has joined the league of actors, producers and directors in her biopic Yoruba movie, Mayowa.

Mayowa is a story of a family embroiled in a love triangle. It is the story of a happily married couple who fell apart when they had a child. The child that was supposed to bond the family and bring much joy, unfortunately, tore the once peaceful union assunder. Mayowa, a married lady had to search for independence and meaningful life after she found herself stuck in a marriage that was heading nowhere.
The movie features a stellar cast. Among whom are movie legend, Ebun Oloyede, (Olaiya Igwe), Razaq Owokoniran(Wazo), Taiwo Adepeko, Ayo Olaiya, Mayowa Duntoye (Folake Eleko), Kemi Korede. Others are Olufemi Araba, Fathia Oniro, Lekan Olatunji.
Narrating her own story to BLACKWASH, Mayowa Duntoye said’, the movie is my real-life story. I just felt I should share my experience with people. Almost all the scenes in that movie are true. They were about me and my ex-husband.
Mayowa was released on June 8,2020 and uploaded on YouTube on June 17, 2020.
