To adequately manage cases of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Lagos State Government has set up an isolation centre at the old Onikan stadium. Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu had announced on Tuesday that more isolation centres would be set up in the event that more cases are recorded in the state.
This is to take the centres closer to the people in order to avoid travelling long distances from different parts of the state to access the only existing centre in Yaba. The Onika Isolation centre was built in partnership with Guaranty Trust Bank.
